During office hours, the external door will usually be open. A press pad auto door opener is located approximately 1 meter from the ground to the left of the door. You will feel a raised metal disc approximately 15 centimetres wide. Please press the pad for the door to open automatically.
If the door is closed please use the door bell located on the left hand side of the door approximately 1 meter from the ground immediately to the right of the auto door opener. You will feel a raised rectangular plastic box with a soft button in the centre. The office is sometimes closed for training so it may pay to call in advance to check we are open.
The main entry to the office is accessible via a ramp.
The building has two wheelchair accessible toilets.
We have a fixed induction loop system for hearing aid users in a number of our rooms as well as a portable induction loop system.
By train
The Mansfield train station is located on Station Road NG18 5RN approximately 700 meters from our office and is served by East Midlands trains.
Upon leaving the station entrance take the road down the hill for approximately 100 meters. At the end of the road turn left for 20 meters and then right onto Rosemary Street (dual carriageway). Continue along Rosemary Street for approximately 600 meters. You will need to cross the road at some stage, there are a number of crossing points. Our office is on the left hand side of Rosemary Street after Sally’s Salon Services and before Mansfield Carpets.
By bus
The Mansfield bus station is located at the Rosemary Centre on Rosemary Street approximately 400 meters from our office. Turn right onto Rosemary Street (dual carriageway). You will need to cross the road at some stage, there are a couple of crossing points. Our office is on the left hand side of Rosemary Street after Sally’s Salon Services and before Mansfield Carpets.
The Stagecoach number 10 bus runs along Rosemary Street and stops close to the Disability Nottinghamshire office.
By car

There are two parking spaces for Blue Badge holders outside of the Disability Nottinghamshire office on Byron Street. Please note that parking restrictions still apply. Alternatively parking spaces are available in the Mansfield Carpets customer car park on Rosemary Street directly opposite our office. You will need to obtain a temporary parking permit for display in your vehicle from our reception upon arrival.
