A Triumph of Choral Music
A huge thank you to the Catenian Association Mansfield & Dukeries Circle 197 for sponsoring a beautiful concert at St Philip Neri Church on Friday evening. The concert included songs from four Mansfield choirs: St Philip Neri with St Bedes Catholic Voluntary Academy Choir, All Saints Catholic Voluntary Academy Choir, St Philip Neri Church Choir and, of course, Disability Nottinghamshire’s “Our Voice” community choir.
Well done to all choirs, you were all fantastic!
“Our Voice” Community Choir sang What a Wonderful World, This Little Light of Mine and Why We Sing, each met by rapturous applause. It was a very enjoyable evening and we were honoured to be included.
All proceeds of the concert go to Disability Nottinghamshire. A final figure is still being tallied from ticket sales and money collected on the night.
