“Our Voice”

“Our Voice” community choir is a non-auditioning, all embracing choir singing pop, gospel, musical numbers and classics.

Following the success of two performances  “Our Voice” Community Choir is looking for new members. It is open to anyone who has a disability or long term health condition, their carers, family and friends. If you are interested in joining or would like more information please contact Robyn on 01623 625891 or robyn@disabilitynottinghamshire.org.uk.

Rehearsals are on Thursday 10.30 – 11.30am at Bridge Street Methodist Church, Mansfield.

We welcome new members, whatever your ability, so please get in touch if you have any questions or would like more information. Singing in harmony is like aerobics for the soul. It’s a really fun, feel-good, stress busting activity, and at only £1 per week including refreshments it’s affordable too.

So why not give it a try? Just show up and sing!

Our project received £9,228 from the People’s Postcode Trust to set up “Our Voice” Community Choir. “People’s Postcode Trust is a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery”.

The project received further funding from Tesco Charity Trust, The Mansfield Building Society and Nottinghamshire County Council.

Currently, D’Oyley Carte is supporting the continuation of the project.
