We are looking for people willing to bring energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our trustees play a vital role in making sure that Disability Nottinghamshire achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity, whilst ensuring that Disability Nottinghamshire has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. They also support and challenge the executive team to enable Disability Nottinghamshire to grow and thrive.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Trustee Board members have a collective responsibility. This means that trustees always act as a group and not as individuals.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You do not need previous experience \u2013 we will provide a full induction and training.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year we helped 2,000 people across Nottinghamshire thanks to the generous support of our donors and funders. We know there are more people across the County who need our help and fundraising and donations help us meet this demand. Community fundraisers help make this a reality, engaging communities and stakeholders in engaging ways to encourage donations<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Volunteers are core to this user-led service, being run by people with disabilities or caring experience for others in the community.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
