Support Disability Nottinghamshire

Last year we helped 2,000 people across Nottinghamshire thanks to the generous support of our donors and funders. We know there are more people across the County who need our help and your personal donations can help us meet this demand. Donating online is the most cost efficient and effective way of supporting us but we appreciate all forms of donations.

Gift Aid

If you Gift Aid your donation, Disability Nottinghamshire will receive an extra 25p for every £1 you donate. You must pay the same amount of income tax/capital gains tax equal to Gift Aid you are giving us, otherwise you might be liable for the difference.

Charity fundraising

You can donate to Disability Nottinghamshire as part of a celebration you are having, an anniversary, a sponsored cycle ride, cake sale or even as an alternative to Christmas or birthday presents.

EasyFundraising

Disability Nottinghamshire are now registered with easyfundraising, which means you can raise FREE donations for us every time you shop online. Over 8,000 brands will donate to us when you use easyfundraising to shop with them – at no extra cost to yourself!

These donations really mount up and make a BIG difference to us, so we’d really appreciate it if you could take a moment to sign up and support us. It’s completely FREE and only takes a moment.

How it works: You shop through the easyfundraising website or app, and retailers donate a percentage of the cost to our organisation, at no extra cost.

Leave a gift in your will or as part of a legacy

Remembering us in your will, is the most inspiring and compassionate way of ensuring we can continue to help people across Nottinghamshire. Gifts can come in all shapes and sizes, big ones, small ones or anything that is leftover after other gifts have been made. Corporate donations

Support from private or public organisations is one way for employees and customers to engage in charity giving. It can help build confidence, increase motivation, encourage teamwork, increase sales and improve reputation. If you would like to consider us a charity that your organisation would like to support, please contact us with your idea and how we might be able to assist in making it a reality.

Amazon Smile

You can also support us by choosing Disability Nottinghamshire as your chosen charity to support so that every time you spend money on amazon a percentage of that money goes to us for no extra cost to you all by shopping through smile.amazon.co.uk rather than using the normal amazon website. This costs you the same as normal but allows you to raise some vital funds for Disability Nottinghamshire at the same time.

Payroll giving

You can help us to support people with disabilities, long-term health conditions and carers by making a regular contribution through your payroll. Not only is it a simplier way of supporting us but it’s also the most cost effective because donations are deducted before tax.

For example, if you donate £10 through your payroll, only £8 comes out of your salary and the taxman pays the rest. Or, if you’re on a higher rate tax payer (40%), only £6 comes out of your salary.
